This post is just to provide a home for some pictures of silly signs, shop fronts which have amused us, and a couple which are a bit more sinister.

We're obviously far too innocent and naive as it took us quite a while to realise that some of the seedier establishments in Kathmandu which have signs outside along the lines of "Night club with Dance and Shower" were not talking about providing revelers with the chance to cool down having worked up a sweat on the dance floor. No doubt Bangkok and other places will make it all look very tame by comparison, but we've not really seen anything so blatantly sleazy in India or Sri Lanka.

On a lighter note, we had no idea what a Spiny Babbler was when we saw the sign, but next time Drew has to come up with a suggestion for a band name, he knows what it's going to be!
